Description: I used several different reference photos to piece together this scene. It was good practice to imaging a completely new image and put it down on canvas. Definitely went loose with this one, especially in the background buildings, foliage, and mountains. With respect to the composition, I wanted to get a contrast between the cooler, darker colors in the shaded part on the left side against the warmer, brighter colors in the sunlight on the right side. The car helps tie the two sides together, reflecting the cooler and warmer colors simultaneously.
