A few notes
Each oil painting takes a week or two to finish. Additional time is required for the oil paint to dry and for the varnish finish to be applied. Completion times will also be longer if there are multiple commission requests waiting to be fulfilled. Given all of these factors, it is not uncommon for it to take 2 months or more to receive a custom commission. Please keep this timeline in mind when ordering.
You are part of the process! You will be asked to provide subject information upon adding this item to your cart. This can be a description of what you would like painted. It can also be a link to a reference image. If a reference image is to be used, please make sure you have permission from the original creator. When ordering, this is your chance to provide any specific requests or details you’d like to see in the artwork.
I work with each customer to ensure that they receive a painting they truly enjoy. Upon initial completion, I will share a picture of the completed painting with you for approval. If there are changes you would like in the painting, this is the point at which you can share those with me, and I will make every effort to incorporate those changes. Please keep in mind that modifications to the painting will add additional time to the overall process.
Paintings are delivered ready to hand, without frame (giving the purchaser the ability to select their own frame to quite their display preferences).
