Since each artwork is different and prices depend on several factors (size, subject, detail, custom framing, etc.), please contact me directly to discuss your vision and preferences so that we can settle on a price that ensures you end up with something you love at a reasonable and competitive value.

A few notes

  • Each oil painting can take weeks to months to finish, based on the size and level of detail involved. Additional time is required for the oil paint to dry and for the varnish finish to be applied. Completion times will also be longer if there are multiple commission requests waiting to be fulfilled. Given all of these factors, it is not uncommon for it to take several months to receive a custom commission after the purchase is made. Please keep this timeline in mind when ordering.

  • You are part of the process! When you contact me for a custom commission, we’ll work together to discuss the subject you want painted and any other details you think are important to capture your unique vision for the artwork. This also provides the opportunity to share any reference images you might have (please note: if the reference image is not yours, please ensure that you have permission from the image creator to use it as a reference in the painting). If the painting requires a few weeks to complete, I’ll share progress images with you along the way. You’re free to share ideas and thoughts throughout the process for consideration as the painting evolves.

  • Payment will be handled in a two-step process via secure transaction methods. Once a price has been established, you will be provided with an invoice for half the cost as a down payment. This ensures that I have commitment from you, the customer, before I start investing my time and materials in the painting process. Once the down payment invoice is paid, I will start working on the painting. After completion of the painting, I’ll confirm with you that you are happy with the result, after which you will be invoiced for the remainder of the cost, including shipping. After receiving the final payment, I will ship the product off to you.
